This is an alternate-dimension roleplay.

In the world of Naruto, panic is taking
over. The Akatsuki, a group of s-class
criminal missing-nin, are causing tragedies
throughout the countries. They are after
the nine tailed demons, and have met
little to no resistance in their plight, as of
yet. Entire villages fall to the powers of
these impossibly strong ninja.
However, a second group of ninja have
stepped from the darkness. The Hakumei,
a group of equally powerful ninja with
their minds set on keeping the peace, are
determined to stop the Akatsuki before
they can capture the last of the demons
and use their power for their own devices.
If all this wasn't enough, the existance of
four new demons have been revealed;
their strengths rivaling even that of the
legendary nine-tailed fox.
In this time of peril,
which side will you choose to follow?
Will you stand, or will you fall?
Weather - Warm. The skies are generally clear and the winds gentle. It's the season of shorts, t-shirts, and long nights under the stars. However, autumn quickly approaches, and the academy students are preparing for another hard year of school.

THE LAND OF FIRE!
THE VILLAGE HIDDEN IN THE LEAVES (9 sub-boards) Konoha is one of the five great ninja villages and said to be the mightiest of the five. As such, it is one of five villages with a Kage as its leader, known as the Hokage. On a mountain overlooking the villages from the north exists the Hokage Monument. The village resides in the Land of Fire. Although Konoha, much like the country in which it resides, has been peaceful for the past sixteen years and has grown accustomed to that peace, it remains one of the most powerful villages in existence and has great military power and influence.

OTAFUKU Otafuku is a town in the Land of Fire ten kilometers away from Konohagakure. The small town features numerous bath houses and inns, one of which is mostly destroyed in the battle between Itachi and Sasuke.

LAND OF FIRE BOUNTY STATION A black market exchange point where bounty hunters collect the bounty on names from the Bingo Book. Its entrance is hidden behind a urinal in a men's bathroom.

THE FIRE TEMPLE A large ninja temple or shinobi monastery in the Land of Fire that houses Ninja Monks. The monks are led by former Twelve Guardian Ninja Member Chiriku. The Temple is located in an area surrounded on three sides by mountains and a large field to the south. The graves of four of the Twelve Guardian Ninja lie in each of the cardinal directions with the temple in the center. There are many statues of Tengu and Yamabushi located around the around the temple.

KONOHA STRICT CORRECTIONAL FACILITY Konoha Strict Correctional Facility was originally name "Special Ninja Felony Prison". This is where S-Rank Ninjas and those who broke Konoha Laws stay and repay their services to the village. It is located outside of Konohagakure for the safety of civilians.

THE LAND OF WATER!
THE VILLAGE HIDDEN IN THE MIST Kiri, is located in the Land of Water. The official head ninja of Kirigakure is the Mizukage. It is also the place from which the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist hail. Kiri has a strong and ruthless military that could not be easily defeated. At one time, Kiri was known for it's barbaric graduation ritual. Students wishing to move on into the ranks of the ninja there would be pitted against each other in one-on-one duels to the death - thus earning the village the nickname, "Village of the Bloody Mist". This practice lasted until an incident where Zabuza Momochi infamously killed the entire graduating class (before even reaching the age of qualification himself), after which it was banned.

THE VILLAGE HIDDEN IN THE RAIN Ame is a small yet highly industrialized hidden village located in an unnamed country. It seems to be a rather loosely knit village, befitting the destabilized country, as a fair number of its ninja seem to either be missing-nin or end up as missing-nin, as the infamous Akatsuki leader Nagato and his partner Konan originate from this village.

THE VILLAGE HIDDEN IN SOUND Oto was Orochimaru's personal village, founded for the express purpose of collecting ninja for his experiments and quest to learn jutsu. In actuality, Oto is not really a village but a group of hideouts and bases scattered through out the Land of Sound and other countries.

OROCHIMARU'S HIDEOUT This is Orochimaru's hideout and where he keeps his all of his prisoners. Prisoners here are chosen to be his next vessel when he is in need of a new body. Orochimaru and Kabuto live here.

THE VILLAGE HIDDEN IN THE CLOUDS Kumo is the hidden village of the Land of Lightning. As one of the five great ninja villages, Kumogakure has a Kage as its leader known as the Raikage. The ninja from this village seem to specialize in Lightning Release techniques. It is located on a high mountain, literally hidden in the clouds.

THE VALLEY OF CLOUDS AND LIGHTNING Located somewhere within the country's many mountain ranges is a valley called the Valley of Clouds and Lightning. It's a water filled valley covered in clouds or fog. Within this valley is a dark cavern where Kirābī, the Jinchūriki of the Eight-Tailed Beast, trains.

THE VILLAGE HIDDEN IN THE STONES Iwa is the hidden village of the Land of Earth. As one of the five great ninja villages, Iwagakure has a Kage as its leader known as the Tsuchikage. The ninja from this village seem to specialize in Earth Release techniques. Deidara, an akatsuki member, is a missing-nin from this village.

THE VILLAGE HIDDEN IN THE GRASS Kusa is located in a thus far unnamed country. Because it had Genin participating in the Chunin exams organized by Konohagakure, it can be assumed the two villages are allied. Little to nothing is known about Kusagakure's general fighting style, or even if they have one. It can be inferred from the village's name that its shinobi use jutsu involving flora or possibly Earth Release techniques. The shinobi from Kusa are very sly and resourceful.

THE LAND OF WIND!
THE VILLAGE HIDDEN IN THE SAND Suna is the hidden village of the Land of Wind. As one of the five great ninja villages, Sunagakure has a Kage as its leader known as the Kazekage. The ninja from this village seem to specialize in Wind Release techniques and the Puppet Technique. As opposed to the village of the Hidden Leaf, shinobi residing within the Sand village heavily believe that the accomplishment of mission predominates the lives of the ninja trying to accomplish it, it is for this reason why Sand shinobi aren't as merciful as those of the Leaf. Gaara, the former Jinchūriki of the One-Tailed Shukaku hails from this village, as do the legendary puppeteers Chiyo and Sasori.

HAKUMEI HIDEOUT! This is the hidden hide-out of Hakumei, the counter-akatsuki organization. It has the most modern technology, mainly from the mass amounts of wealth that Hayate Kiatsu has been able to accumulate through his Kekai Genkai. It is located in the literal middle of a desert, and the only entrance is through a specially designed sink-hole.

THE VILLAGE HIDDEN IN THE SNOW There is little known about Yuki. The ninja from this village have a special "chakra armor" which protects them from most attacks while amplifying the user's abilities. Their jutsu arsenal typically use ice in the forms of various animals.

THE LAND OF RIVERS!
THE VILLAGE HIDDEN IN A WATERFALL Taki is located in an unnamed country. Despite being surrounded by four other countries, it has never been invaded, a feat that it's people are quite proud of. Pein and Kakuzu of the Akatsuki, along with the host of the seven tailed beast, hail from this village. Shinobi from Taki seem to specialize in water-based jutsu. Taki is also known to have processed a type of water called the Hero Water. Although it gives the user ten times the normal amount of chakra, it is proven to have lethal tendancies.

AKATSUKI HIDEOUT A large cavern hidden on the side of a mountain in a forest. The door is covered by a massive boulder. Akatsuki members meet here to discuss missions and to perform extractions of the tailed beasts from their hosts.
